Silly.... the fact is that Michael Johnson was clocked in at 27 mph in his 200 world record breaking performance. The 100 does not always determine whos the fastest. 27 mph! that means in a school zone he could of gotten a ticket!
I guess I'll have to set every one straight on the facts of track and field. Rynell is talented, and just cause he raced people in college means nothing, it's the age that matters. They all were around the same age group, thats why they raced in the division there in. And to ever said that Michael Johnson ran just the 200 and 400 is mistaken. He also did run the 100 he ran a 10.04, but the 200 and 400 were his strongest events.
Oh, I forgot to mention that a couple of the dudes that ran against Rynell Parson at the U.S. Nationals (jr. Mens 100 Meter) are in college.

Man Hater...the reason he would be considered as the fastest man on the planet is because he has the most records in the sprints...and we would never know just because he never ran the hundred he might would have had a record in that..when he race Donovan Bailey he pulled up...it wasnt a real race...which means that it didnt mean a thing to him...he raced maurice green in the 200 hundred your so called fastest man and rocked that young man...as my coach told me a 100 is a sprinters race and a 200 is an complete sprinters race requires knowlegde how to run the race and speed and endurance.So Hater when you talkin bout the man that has never won any other medal but gold and has records thats pretty much untouchable you need to think again before you talk down on Michael Johnson....

He was never the fastest man in the planet....not even close! Maurice Green, Ben Johson, Carl Lewis, Donovan Bailey....they were the fastest! They all could eat up more ground more quickly than Michael Johnson ever could.....thats what its all about, COVERING MORE GROUND AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE!

Does anyone remember what Donavon Bailey did to Michael Johnson in the highly anticipated "150 meter" race in 1997?? This race was special made for Johnson to win because it had a turn in it. Donovan had lane 1 and closed the distance immediately and passed Johnson, Johnson could not close the seperation and came up lame trying to run against a true 100 meter specialist.
THE FASTEST PERSON IN THE WORLD WILL ALWAYS BE THE TRUE 100 METER PERSON AND WILL ALWAYS BE JUDGED BY THE 100 METER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You run the 100 meters at 100%, and you run the 200 meters at 95-97% or you will burn out before the race is finished!!! Only Michael Johnson can do it.

aye hater..if you really look at it whitney is the fastest in the state think about it he won the 100 with no one to push him(10.45)..he won the 200m ALL BY HIMSELF OUT OF LANE 1(20.99) not to mention he had to do the long jump in the morning..I dont really like the boi cause he beat me so many times but i give it to him.. he tha fastest..

i saw prevost jumped a 25 this year and they scratched him. he jumped 24'4 last year at the state meet.. why would he jump a 24 when it required a 23 to win....how bout YOU get off his dick..
rynell is a great 100m spinter and i give the young man credit he is one of the best in the nation but if the 100m is the race that determines the fastest man.. Why is it that Michael Johnson was labeled the fastest man in the world when he only ran 200m and 400m? You see young man you have to be great in more than one event to be labeled the fastest man.. rynell is a 100m man..prevost is a 100m-400m man..rynell is among the best in the state but prevost is the fastest man with rynell as seconed. Both are GREAT sprinters but rynell cant go to state in the 400m as prevost can..so young man the 100m DOES NOT determine the fasest man even though parson may be faster than prevost at it.
I know porvost is good and all that, I know he won the 4A long jump at 23'03, but that would only get him 7th place in 5A....yeah that's right, 7th in 5A....check the facts Texas City and get off provost dick because his momma gonna think he gay like you!
Provost still didnt run in the 9's like Rynell....he still did not top Rynell's time on the 100 (10.37)on the same track! (Last time I heard the when you lay claim to the fastest...it means the 100!!!!!!!!!, not the 200 or 400 or 800, the 100 tells you who the fastest man is! Rynell ran 10.30's all season long, not just one race like your Boy provost! BOY!

Prevost yeah he's fast. But everybody knows, who knows about track and field, that the fastest man is always measured by 100m. Yeah 20.99 is fast, but not fast enough to stand in the country after all the state meets are done. Rynell's 21.19 is decent, still will not held up nationally. 10.37, and 10.32. You can't argue, because even after all the state meets that will still stand. Get it right prevost was never in a 100m and 200m final in state in his sophomore year. No where to be found in those supreme races. At that time he just was not fast enough. Face it he is just another face from the superior state of Texas

The fastest man in the state is the sophmore Rynell Parson from San Antonio Stevens you fools, he won the 5A GOLD in 10.37 while he slowed down the last 15 meters, he also set a San Antonio City record last month with a 9.99, the fastest time in the Country in 2007.... Provost will see nothing but his ass if they raced!
