Lagat becoming an American citizen is one of the best things to ever happen to US distance running. He brings not only competition but also experience in major international meets.

He would be one hell of a coach, and he is one hell of a team player... Glad he reps the USA finally. Really hope that him and Teg can work together to break 13 in the 5k.

no question, he has been one of the best of all times, but it is time to leave the 1500; with the two or three from Morocco, Kenyans, the uprising Spanish and Hesko from Ukraine, he is history. He should concentrate on the 5000 or maybe even the 10.000.
