Rabbits are here to stay, and Webb would've run a bit faster if they'd run what they needed to. Heck, even Roger Bannister had "rabbits" when he first broke the 4:00 mile. I'm just disappointed that this record warranted less than a two-sentence story in my paper. When Steve Scott set the AR 25 years ago, it was front page sports news.

The answer to the "your name's" questions. Yes the rabits did drop out. Yes it helps drafting. Yes all the other world records (El Gourouche, Morceli, Coe, Ryan......Roger Banister) all had rabits.

Why do the other people run with him and then drop out? Is that for the advantage of a draft? If so, do all record holders or attempts do that?

Biff... not funny... pretty lame in fact... lets let him have his time in the lime light innocent until proven guilty... and the only people who seem to be talking about it are the ones that are being proven wrong... the doubters who jumped ship the second he started to flounder a little... you're just upset cuz people who were always excited to see him run and were always behind him... were right in saying he IS the next great american miler... not will be, not might be... IS
