Slow times but no real big names. and these arnt those guy's prs. add all these factors together with the fact there was a headwind and a small meet to not get these guys up, and u have slow times

Time Freaks be still.....it's about the competition. The relationship of human to human....that is the race. Time slaves, wristwatch wizards be still.
As to the energy of the event. There is no way a video can capture the feel of an actual meet. If you were there...you know....if you were not...you don't know. It's great that Demi and Farmer were only .01 from each other....now that is a race! go for the race not the watch. A Watch is just 'tick-tick'....a race is of humans. Let the races continue! 'nuff said.

there was no enthusiasm going into this race.. Omole has run 10.10, Farmer has run 10.18.... there were barel any spectators.. and no energy was brought to the meet..

Not often this field wasn't a big time one. Sometimes there would at least be a few guys sub 10 the others would be 10.01 and so on. Rarely this slow.

Does anyone know how common it is to see winning times in the 100m that are this slow? I ask not to disparage the performances we see here - only to educate myself since I (a middle distance/distance guy) haven't paid much attention to sprints in the past and therefore don't know the answer to this question. Thanks!
