Way to go, sweetheart! When the phone rang at 7:40am this morning, I knew it was Adam calling to tell me you got your medal! We're all so proud of, and thrilled for, you. You are such an inspiration to us all for holding on to your dreams and goals all these years despite all your injuries, doubts and other set-backs. You have had such an amazing attitude through it all! You've done an amazing thing for yourself, Adam, the entire family & distance running in the USA!!! You're the best daughter-in-law anyone could ask for, and not just because you won the Bronze! I can't wait to see you & give you a great big hug! Good luck to my Adam on the 30th! Much love & congrats, honey. Your #2 mom!

After watching kara work-out I knew she would be in the hunt for a medal.Alberto is the best. She kept hanging in there and not letting the field get too far away. She went up front with the leaders and put herself in position to get a medal.Kara hope to see you in New York In November.
