Great interview ! Enjoyed the 15 min segment. Mark, you do an awesome job with these interviews. Kara, congrats on the bronze at the world's. You have such a beautiful smile. Kara and Adam Goucher as Olympians in 2008 (and hopefully on the medal stand for each of your events) ! Would love to see one of the few couples on the medal stand. Both have too much determination to settle for anything less. All of the best wishes to both of you in 2008 for the Olympics. Mark, keep up the great work !

here is the 15 min interview that I told you about from Flotrack. if you can't watch it at work, you can see it tonight. It is a good interview though. Very in depth and informative. But it shows her personality, too.

Kara, can't wait to see you break "31". If you have another 10K this year, you stay with the Africans for as long as you can and let them pull you. Just go all out and see if you make it.

There was a photo of Kara after the 10K where you could really see her core muscle strength, which is probably key to her success - especially for avoiding the kind of injuries which have plagued her career. Great preparation by her coach and a gutsy race performance in hot, muggy weather.
I'm going to show both of my daughters this excellent interview.

Great interview. I watched the 10K and really enjoyed the interview. I also really got a lot out of the video of Kara's workout in Oregon with Alberto Salazar providing comments as Kara ran. Great job.

only just discovered your site, but what a great find! Really appreciate the interview, particularly unedited, because then you get what people really think, and it gives you a lot to think about. If you were a young aspiring runner this interview with Kara is a must to listen to.

The First day of osaka you have like 15 interviews then less and less and today the big day when "CLASS ACT" Bernard Lagat wins for the USA you have you hands in your pants with kara goucher. Whats the deal.

Adam Goucher, You better keep your eyes out on mark. By the tone of his voice on the interview it sounds like he has nasty little hidden agenda up his sleeve. I mean c'mon, can you see mark doing a 15 minute tyson gay interview.

15 with a Bronze Medalist Unedited

Uploaded By: Flotrack
Kara Goucher and I sit down for a great 15 min talk. I did not edit a thing even when I totally lost my train of thought and had no idea where my next question was going. It is the longest interview we have ever put up but I thought it would be cool to see it all at once. I know our attention spans are not what they used to be but its only 15 mins. If you like this type of interview I might try a couple more like this. If your ADD and its too long let me know and I will keep them to the 5min version and will cut this one up later into three parts.
