Thank you everyone for your kind words. I'm sure most of you saw the results - It wasn't what I was hoping for at the beginning of the year, but considering everything I can't complain! The entire experience in NYC was incredible. If anything it felt good to put closure on the year (hopefully), and start thinking about a HEALTHY (God's willing) 2007. Thank you again!

I'm serious. If your showing isn't up to the level we talked about, your stuff will be on street when you get home and the locks will be changed.

...Good luck brother. ;)

Fabulous interview. Pure, undistilled Flocktrack. There's no way I'd get to hear this gentleman's great story about a training run done with a steeplechase champion if I was limited to mainstream medium. Thanks to Kevin for introducing us to Brad. Brad, sounds like you've had a tough year, but I'll be cheering for you tomorrow, bright and early!
Give 'er nails!

Brad Poore

Uploaded By: Flotrack
Brad Poore ran 2:21:51 at the California International Marathon in Sacramento in December of 2006. After not being fast enough to make his college team as a freshman, Brad talks about his journey as a runner. Training stints in Kenya have given Poore the opportunity to witness the intensity of distance legends that have made the country famous. Unfortunately Poore’s most recent trip to east Africa left him with a serious illness that threatened his life. Poore runs for the West Valley Track Club (westvalleytc.org).

The U.S. Olympic Team Trials in men's marathon will be held in New York City's Central Park on November 3, 2007. The top three finishers will qualify for the 2008 Bejing Olympic Games. Stories of race favorites will be told frequently leading up to the race. The majority of the field, however, exists without publicity and support and sees this race as the biggest of their running careers. Over 150 American men have earned the right to toe the line in New York, and significant sacrifice and quality training is occurring to prepare for this race. Flotrack will bring you the stories of these men and investigate how these qualifiers became and continue to be among America's best.
