Alan train for the Olympic Triple 800, 1500, 5000. LOL The U.S. 4x400 is so good that he could run 3rd leg with a 46 and we would still win.

He is not taking away what he did accomplish, it is just the goal was and will always be Worlds and Olympics and if the goal is not met then it is a disappointment. I understand him completely!

US national championship, Gaz de France, 1:43, 3:46. Now that is more than a B. Unsolicited advice - less travel, less time on the road, in airplanes, in strange hotels -> olympic medal.

Webb should have an automatic bid for the olympic team so he can concentrate on winning a medal.
