Fastforward, it is the camera in use that makes it look so fast. It looks to me like it did not record at actual video rate (24 frames per second or faster), so the effect is almost like having a strobe light on. You know if you move around in a strobe light you look super fast - just watch 28 days later, it's the effect they used when filming the zombies to make them seem really fast. Also, the shaky camera does not help, but mostly its the frame rate.
