I can remember seeing Lomong run at Pre-Nats in 2007. He blew everyone else out of the water. The only other person who was close was Josh MacDougal, and he was in the other race. Lomong got the course record, but MacDougal broke it 23 minutes later. He's a beast.
during the olympics, i was getting tired of hearing the announcer recite his story every time he toed the line. but watching this months later, i am amazed again. one must reconsider what they can do with the resources at their dispoal

What an incredible story. This video is so inspiring. Running/racing relies so much on the mental aspect, to achieve you're goals. This video shows that Lopez Lomong has no mental blocks and is very motivated to win. Sometimes wanting "it" isn't good enough, you have to find the motivation and Lomong has certainly found it within him to win.
