#18 | Hey, look who destroyed Ledder this year in XC...Cory Puffet...he will also destroy him this year in the 3200. just watch reply |
#17 | Great teamwork from Gonzaga. Nice to see teammates run together, especially when the leader pulls the others along to PRs and high places. However, Ledder does need to be more discreet about his cheerleading to follow the rules. I think the fact that he was so animated down the homestretch only is the cause for people's estimates of his grandstanding/showing off. He's a strong young runner, but he could exercise greater humility. reply |
#16 | this is by no means poor sportsmanship. HE DID NOTHING WRONG...he was trying to help his team win a championship, which he did. the kid is a winner reply |
#15 | I don't think he had any bad intentions. The fact is that he drew a lot of attention to himself and it was poor sportsmanship despite his best intentions. reply |
#14 | He wasn't doing that to show off. He was trying to help his teamates. I applaud him for his good teamwork. reply |
#13 | Unlike his teammates, however, Ledder could see Mcginn from PVI closing, and he wanted Zeiss and Fleury to go 2, 3. reply |
#12 | He just needs to be more discreet about helping his teammates. It is poor sportsmanship to constantly remind everyone that you aren't even trying. That's why some people are not big fans. Go out there and do your job without clapping and yelling and waving your arms around. reply |
#11 | When you can run a 4:29, yelling to your teammates, then run a 1:55 800 the day after running a 9:39 2 mile 45 minuted after a 1:54 800, you can call Ledder a . Just because he cares as about his team as much as he does himself doesn't make him a . You're just a little who will never run as fast as him, so seriously, shut up. reply |
#10 | This is our national champ? reply |
#9 | its ian mcginn you tard not johnson. use your eyes. reply |
#8 | anonymous coward #3, shut your ignorant, jealous, loser mouth up. Ledder obviously entered this uncompetitive meet with the goal of doing as little as possible in each of his 4 races to cross the tape first and have as many of his teammates as close to him as possible. You are probably a freshman, but last year Ledder cooked Puffet in the mile, again doing only what he had to to win. When he is done, Ledder will be the best runner the WCAC has ever seen and possibly the top middle distance runner in the nation. You will continue to have a great view of the "crap he pulls" on his last 100 meters from the opposite straightaway of the track. reply |
#7 | you've got to be kidding me...ledder ran 4:13 down in richmond the other week, cory couldn't beat ledder in the mile. he couldn't even beat him in the 2mile, and he was predicted to win. quit your whining and just face it that ledder got the best of the competition once again...he's just that good. reply |
#6 | Ian McGinn from PVI. Johnson ran the 800. reply |
#5 | Actually, I don't go to DeMatha but I'd bet Cory would have destroyed Billy in the mile had he not gotten injured. reply |
#4 | the crap he pulls...? what are you talking about you idiot? he was encouraging ben zeiss and will fleury to surge late because blaize from pvi was bookin it hard. let me guess, you probably go to dematha, because you're just too stupid to realize that he is better than your whole team. reply |
#3 | Ledder sucks. someone will someday pass him because of the crap he pulls. reply |
#2 | yes he is, he wasnt breaking a sweat, he was toying with the competition...gotta be careful thought, the officials could have gotten him disqualified for aiding the runners on his team reply |
#1 | Okay, so Ledder is officially a beast. reply |
