nope. the 9:03 record is an accurate record. various coaches asked the officials the following day about it and they all said 9:03 is legit. not to mention if you look at all the past results from year to year 9:03 is consistently the the stated record.
I'm pretty sure that the "old" meet record (9:03.6) is inaccurate. Tim Gargiulo (sp?) and Eric Henry broke 9 minutes at the 1986 meet. Of course, Coach Green would know.
