Yes, Jenny B is a true star. But let's celebrate all our athletes! Can you believe that Shalane was sixth (of the USA runners).... at 4:06 and change?!! When was the last time six US women ran sub 4:07 in one race?

Right before saying that she must have been close to the collegiate record he actually said that it was 4:06. Did he not watch the race and see the ran 3:59?

How do you, as "Track" anouncers, not know what the collegiate record is, or at least have someone who does know.

Funny before reading any posts my initial reaction to Jenny breaking the collegiate record was how much the announcers didn't care. I nominate Flotrack staff to impeach and overpower the sitting NBC announcers using force if necessary.

Please for the sake of the running community get a new annoucing crew. These guys are horrible. I have actually resorted to watching meets on NBC with the television muted because these guys suck so bad.
