Most of these girls were also exhausted after a very hard week of racing. I didn't even mention the heat of the state meet and the the Congress Ave. These events are usually held in early May. Swine Flu irritated the flow and training schedules of almost all the boy and girls annual routines. Also note that both races featured private school athletes who had top qualifing times. Tapps distance running is puting itself on the map with faster and better coached kids. This is their opportunity to compete with the public school athletes.
