There are three loops on the upper portion of Tryon Creek Park that we use: 1) a "long" loop, about 2150m; 2) a "medium" loop, about 1500m; and 3) a "short" loop, about 900m.

Our top guys did 2 x [long-medium-short] with 60-90sec of jogging for recovery. They are instructed to run just faster than tempo effort - although it's difficult to quantify that effort due to the rolling, twisting terrain of the trails (we do have a mile mark on the long loop).
Our guys enjoy training at Tryon - and we've found over the last few years that it's been a big factor in our success/improvement each fall.

Great workout at Tryon tonight. On a 92 degree day, the shade of Tryon Creek Park was perfect for us. Great to have Musa, Curran, and Peter all there together. Andy and Everett also looked strong and Zach had a good effort. Leland continues to improve.
