this is a lot better than i have seen him in previous interviews, i like how he didn't make it about himself. Lets give him a little cred he is slowly but surely realizing he would get blasted by bolt gay and powell even in his prime, he had a good run there but technology is getting better as is coaching and what we know about racing and how to prepare our body both physically and mentally for a high intensity race like this one. we will eventually see man break the 9 second barrier weather its 10 years from now or 100 years from now. i truly believe that
I'm not a huge fan of Mo Greene. But if you study the sport you know he changed the game. He was the first to really have success staying deep in the acceleration phase late into the race. It's that technique that everyone emulates now, including Gay and Bolt. It's impossible to say for sure who would have won had all these guys been part of the same generation.
This whole interview was uncomfortable to watch. I'm a Mo Greene fan but I can certainly sense some resentment in his voice as he talks about an athlete who is far superior than he has ever been. I agree that he's always wanted to be the GOAT and now that most (if not all) of his records are broken (including most 100m under 10s), his name may never again come into the conversation as who's the GOAT. I'm sure he doesn't like the fact that the only thing people want to talk to him about is how well someone else is doing especially considering how dominant he was at that same event. And what's up with Donovan Bailey in the back? Are those two buddy-buddy now? Mo loses points big time with that kind of company.
I think he not only hates on Tyson, but the fact he's older & never ran as fast as these guys. I also think that he wanted to be the "GOAT" for years to come. I don't think he's really a fan of Usain like he's protraying to be. He really envious of all these guys.
1. to much Hennesy-drunk
2. to much MARY JANE - blowed
3 Ready to cry due to pure jealousy of these guys.
