The swiss Christian Belz, a former Washington All-American and two time Olympian, ran his second race after been out for 18 months, due to knee surgery. Belz has a pb in the 10.000m of 27'53" ran in 2005 at the world's. (29 august 2009, in Merksem Belgium)
