UW Freshmen Chris Ahl and Kelly Spady bring some serious heat to their first ever UW indoor meet. This one mile race was a serious nail bitter with Chris Ahl unleasing a menacing kick to completely neutralize his competition and shut down a late race move by Brian Cronrath. Years later, Kelly holds a personal best of 8:07 in the 3k, Chris has run 3:48 for 1500m, and they both have PR's of 14:17 for 5k.
