Definately should be done on the grass or into sand as they're landing very heavy there. That's gonna hurt if they carry on this way.

Even if they are practicing water jump, they still need to learn (especially blue shorts closer to camera) to push out more and up less. And yes, a sand pit or grass would be much better for practicing, especially at what looks to be high school age.

Pretty sure they must be attempting water-jump practice. should consider using sand pit for that, or even the grass for cushioned landings so not to injure yourself.
