That was great, but I don't want to have your baby like Jennifer apparently does. Keep up the good work.

That was wonderful to see, and we are all very proud of you Scott. You give Chico State a good name. I wish you more good luck for the rest of your Track season.

i think everyone need to not only congratulate scoot, but also the pacers in the race, and also coach towne for helping produce such a great runner. We are all truly privileged (those of us who run for chico) to be able to watch and train with such a talented runner. congrats to everyone who was involved in making history on saturday! (first sub-4 mile on that track, in that city, at that meet, for that team, and that runner)

Impressive   April 14, 2008 at 11:15pm
He runs a 1:03 half marathon this fall, then has the speed to come back and drop a 3:59 early in the season. This man should be dropping some great times in the 5000 and 10000 in the next couple years.

And now a sub four mile.............How many big time races has Scott ran in the last 11 months? He seems to rarely just run a race but always runs a HUGE race.

This was one of the best races I have ever seen, and I was honored to be there and see it happen. Just for the info; there was exactly 2482 people there when you count the east and west bleachers(I know because I was the one with the counting clicker). The crowd was very into it, and my ears are still ringing and my throat still hurts from cheering. I haven't seen that many people cheer at Chico State since the last time the Wildcat Football team beat UC Davis(and the football team has been gone for 12 years!!). It was a fantastic event to witness, and I will never forget it. Great job Scott!!

Sorry about the filming, I wasn't in charge of the camera and the guy I gave it too probably got bumped around by the crowd...it was absolutely NUTS out there. The articles estimated like 2400 people, I dont think thats right, but there was definitely over 1000...I dont think there was a running fan in chico that wasn't there.
