I'm pretty sure running a naked lap is considered important to freshman because it is a way to be accepted by the older runners...and considering a lot of freshman red shirt it could also be considered the most important race of the season...just saying

Just thought I would let you know that showing a butt is hard to label as pornographic material. If it was porno then some PG-13 movies would also be pornos.

Looking at this video, I must say some of the language could have been cleaned up and it would have been just as funny. If the main character were to lead in more with the "random conversation" parts of this video, those sections of the video would have made more sense. That said, one must understand that this video is a play on some of stereotypes of runners. This video is a light hearted jab/spoof based on some of these runners stereotypes. The result is something that is quite entertaining. If a person has a bend to take themselves a little too seriously, they may not "get" this production. In fairness, there are a lot of really good videos in this competition (especially those in the top 5). They are well done and most have a really good spirit about them. Some of them are a tad lengthy but they are very good. There are some really good movies out there, but those are not necessarily the ones that get top marks at the box office. Sometimes those movies and shows that give us a laugh or give us the opportunity to laugh at ourselves are the ones that people are watching 20 years after the finish their respective runs at the theaters and TV. In that sense, this video entry hits the bulleye.

Okay so despite the good editing, this movie was poor. First off...THis question is addressed to mark..After reading the rules it said No obscene or pornographic videos, well this video is obscene and you also see the backside of naked guys....So why is this video on here? My kids come to this site to watch the videos! Also you all are obviously horrible runners if you consider running a naked lap the most important day of your running career. And finally if you guys win trips to the olympics try explaining to people the nudity and public and references about drinking when you are underage!

Dear Too Bad,
I agree the running needs to be serious but it should also be fun. These runners and editor(s) having nothing but respect for the sport and it shows through the hours that they have put in this film along with the others in the competition. For a successful team, they need three factors which are tradition, dedication, and humor. Humor goes a looonnnng way in this sport. This video is a great candidate for this competition and being a representative of young america, i'm sure everyone has seen worse on spongebob squarepants!

Obviously "too bad..." is a strong supporter of one of the losing videos right now and is just a sore loser. Honestly, who cares right now? The top four make it to the next round. Stop crying and bitching like a 13 year old girl and deal with the truth that you are losing to a video that actually did require a lot more work to make.

Very poor humor, and an all-around disappointment.

The video that was filmed in Kenya had a much deeper storyline. Also, it didn't rely on immature, poorly executed jokes to be entertaining.

I love how when a video makes the top 4 (or top 6 in phase 1) all the fanboys of the lesser videos start making comments thinking that they can change the voting trend. It's so obvious and funny. Like a naked run video is somehow less a video than a christian school jesus love in. We know who the real devil is.

Even though some may find this entertaining and good editing, It belongs on YouTube and not on here. There are those who are serious about their sport and have respect for the hard work it takes to get to the Olympics. Talking about sex and running naked around a track needs to be left out of a contest such as this. It's one thing to make something like this for your "friends" to see but I wouldn't want this to represent who our young american athletes are. Use your talents for something more respectfull.

i didn't like that this wasnt a true documentary of the "legendary" naked lap. i use legendary loosely as you did the naked lap in front of your friends who have probably already seen your junk before.

the editing is good, the quality of the video is good, but that isn't what a video is solely judged by. the fact is a video is judged on not only the editing quality, but the quality of the story (which there isn't much of one here) AND the quality of acting (which sucks). if this had been an actual documentary (not staged), it wouldve been much better.

this isn't necessarily my personal favorite, but judging this objectively, i'm giving it all 6 points because i 100% agree with what the guy below me wrote, this one is much better made /edited than the rest. and it is really funny

just from what little movie making i have done i am willing to say that this was the most time consuming to make and edit. this is edited really well and that takes a lot of time

I was impressed in the the video quality but very disapointed int the content the faked acting and couple side ways glances at the camera. And most of all i hate anything that supports the achololic mentality runner mentality. Always remeber you might be good living that lifestyle but you could always be better. For the editing since that is what this contest is about it gets my vote but falls lower than wher it was going initialy for someone with this much talent you would think that the naked lap idea could have been approached from a better angle.

i dont understand how a technically well put together video is getting torn up this much. there are a couple of better videos on here prbly but this one doesn't deserve the lashing it has gotten. except for some weak spots it's actually well made

what?- i will slightly agree with you on the topics of conversation, they don't really fit into the movie at all. that said, i still thought the topics were HILARIOUS! i may have a really innappropriate sense of humor but they were still out there and funny. not really sure how the guy who made the movie came up with them. i'm voting for this one
