a long way to go to catch Bekele?? There is no one out there that is capable of catching Bekele....Americans that is.

carlson finish second in the US 8k champs in NYC back in march, competition was pretty good there

Tough run by Browne. Not buying into Carlson's comment...Dan had a pretty strong race at the marathon trials and barring a calf cramp that I believe caused him to stop towards the middle of the race to stretch, he had 3rd place locked. He's going to have his hands full with Abdi, Rupp, and Goucher (if he goes for the 10k) but he's one of the toughest competitors out there.

he can't hang. I like the guy, but he hasn't put a good race together against solid competition, yet. I keep hoping the best for the guy, but he has to get his head on straight.
