Girls 4x100 Heat 1

This team was from Winnacunnet, NH. The announcer at the NE meet mentioned that they had set a record recently at their state meet. I think they were listed as having the 6th fastest time coming into the NE meet. We were all stunned watching and empowered by their courage. All but the competitors in that heat clapped through the entire lap; people in the stands stood. Intense.

i was working this meet and i would have to say that the tribute that they gave to the young ladies was amazing, i wish they could have captured the entire thing.
