Dorian Ulrey makes a strong move on the third lap and is shoulder-to-shoulder with Manzano and there is no mention of him. Evan Jager, a freshman, challenges for the lead right at the bell. What a thrilling race! The atmosphere could have been so much more electric if they would have mentioned such developments and become involved. I feel as though they have no knowledge of anyone other than the fan favorites. Oh well, I suppose.
I actually could not stand the commentators for this meet, or any other meet that they work on (they do the commentary on most other college meets that are broadcasted). They seem to just make little umptions about the runners' psychology and strategy and just elaborate on them as if they were true.
