Strange: 2008 Japanese Olympic Trials - Men`s 1500
July 1, 2008National record holder Fumikazu Kobayashi wins the men`s 1500 m at the 2008 Japanese National Track & Field Championships thanks to a strange accident in which leader Kazuya Watanabe collapsed meters from the finish, breaking the stride of trailer Yasuhiro Tago and allowing Kobayashi to squeeze by in 3:49.96.
