Reed just missed the A standard from .40... same story as brannen... I hope they will get another shot at having it (brannen running tomorrow though), and if not I hope athletics canada wont about it...it would suck soooo much.

Alysia Johnson

Off to the London Super Grand Prix

July 24, 2009
I headed from Leuven to London with a group of athletes who will be competing in the Super Grand Prix at Crystal Palace in London. The meet is shaping up to be a great one with two awesome match-ups in the 100 and 200 (Bolt vs. Powell, Gay vs. Spearmon). There are many British athletes still trying to get a spot on the GB World Championship team so keep an eye on the women's 800, women's 1500, and men's 5k. It is rumored that Mo Farah is trying to break the British record of 13 minutes....I did a shake out with him and Abdi yesterday at he was able to keep up with me so thats a good sign. Maggie Vessey will be trying to hit the standard in the 800 again. We'll also see Leo, Lopez, Brannen, Lagat, and Myers all in the Mile! There is more so check out those lists and get ready for a great show.
