Magdalena Lewy-Boulet and Peter Gilmore continue to perform as top American marathoners. In recent years, both had disappointing performances at highly anticipated events. Both bounced back in 2009 with fine races at the NYC marathon, as Magda placed 6th and Peter finished 12th.
