Centro would ask Mahon how Jen was doing and how the workouts were going and Mahon was forced to start thinking and acting like a coach. Mahon and Rhines moved out to California and started working with Coach Vigil and Mahon became Deena Kastor's marathon psychologist because he was the only one around who had ever run that distance. After Coach Vigil retired after the 2004 Olympics, Team USA had to look no further then the team's stretch circle. Mahon took over for Vigil and started coaching his wife, Rhines and Kastor. Since the 2005 season, the team has grown to the current state of nine, seven of which our under Mahon. Mahon brought Ryan and Sara Hall, Kate O'Neill, Ian Dobson and Gabe Jennings up to Mammoth Lakes to train with Team USA. Ryan Hall has flourished under Mahon since they started working together. Hall has broken two American records and reached a career goal of breaking an hour for the half-marathon in his second year as a professional. Mahon has had great success so far and has plans of raising the numbers of his group in Mammoth. |

lmao
hahaha
Andrew Carlson is great.
two lap tango, haha
Great Effort Mates! LOL!!!
Carlson and Hall are better announcers than those Brittish guys that do the Euro meets on the internet--and a billion times funnier.
Certainly worth the wait!
"To add a little credibility to the broadcast..." and that two lap tango line was gold.
