I found the camp to be pretty awesome. Sure, there's a share of weird kids but you get that anywhere you go. And if you don't like people who take running seriously, reconsider going away for a week to place where you're going to... run.

The two dances were sick.

this camp sucks...90% of the kids there are weird as hell and they take running way too serious, especially the kids who suck at running

Kevin: do you have any reason to say that about the reebok shoes? I have a friend who runs for reebok sponsored team and he loves their shoes and has never been hurt running in them. I was actually thinking of trying out a pair because he is always talking about how much he likes them, but I may try and avoid the ones Kenny has!

The reeboks have waaaay too much support, and it feels extremely uncomfortable to run in them. I don't think I'll ever use them again, because I can't stand to even walk in them.

Ok there free shoes and they look pretty good for free shoes. Its not like you have to run in them you can just wear them around thats what i do at least since the shoes don't fit the shape of my feet.

Reminds me of Smokey Mountain Nike Camp...free shoes, running in mountains, clinics, games, and running in groups of same ability.

I had the opportunity of attending this years "coach’s clinic" as well as send athletes to the camp. I would strongly recommend Bart's camp to any athlete and coach looking to improve their physical and mental well being. Truly a well rounded, world class experience for the HS athlete.

The Running School

May 22, 2009
The Running School in upstate NY is a high school XC running camp that is like no other around. Our goal was to find out why upwards of 500 campers come back to beautiful camp ground every year.

From the website:
"OUR CAMP IS UNIQUE! We cater to all talent levels by housing our athletes by ability, and not by team. Our system ensures that each athlete is matched with appropriate training partners and experienced staff. The objective is to offer our campers with an unrivaled opportunity to learn about our sport while receiving personalized feedback on training, technique, and preparation."
