She is just plain Gutsy and inspirational!

Wouldn't it be Great for the US women to take 1-2-3 at the Olympics?

Wow, more incredible is her ability to drink and talk at the same time :)

I got goosebumps after half the stuff she said, it's so inspiring that she made the team and the A qualifier the way that she did and that she was able to become an Olympian like this. She mentioned that when she realized it had become her race for third and a race against the clock for the standard, she knew she had to go like never before or she would "regret it for the rest of her life". I think we're all pretty glad she made that decision, awesome and inspiring!

I didn't see it as Shalane "letting Amy sit next to Kara" necessarily, I think Shalane just thought Amy deserved to be in the center seat for the press conference. It was definately cool of her.

Good interview. I liked how she gave Kara and Salazar a lot of credit. I also thought Shalene was cool for letting Amy sit next to Kara. Three very awesome American gals!!
