I'm confused at how someone can expect to compete on a elite level if they can't focus after a false start.... sounds a bit bitter.

That was a pretty negative interview. Don't blame other for your lack of focus. Remember indoors at hte NCAA's, Ty false started. The problem is you only get 1 in college. Who's fault was that? You have to learn how to refocus and run your race. Understand that all the lights are not going to be green, there are going to be red and yellow lights along the way and you have to learn how to deal with them.
