I have dail-up. Now that we got that out the way I'll proceed to the praise. Flotrack videos have never worked for me until now. I am excited to be able to watch Flotrack again.
based on your logic that he could run a 1:46 in 2004 after going 60 second pace per four hundred meters for the first 700m, he would have had to run his last 100 in exactly 1 second. Good math!!!
I feel bad for Lagat that he most likely will not get his Olympic Gold in the 1500m. But he was a veteran going into the Beijing Olympics as a 1500m runner. He's still good at 5k but for a middle distance runner at 1500m, his prime for that event passed years ago and he is obviously not as fit he was in 2004 Athens. I think he knows that himself. Yea he was dissapointed that he didnt make the final in Beijing, but I also think that he knew right after the 2004 Athens final that it was pretty much over. I could be wrong but he is getting old for a miler type of guy. Yea he can run a 1:46 800 right now but he could do that back in 2004 after running 700m at 60 second per 400 pace. He's still got some great years to come but his prime is long gone. HES STILL BEAST AND WILL GO DOWN IN MIDDLE to LONG DISTANCE RUNNING HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3:51 indoors this year
Far from out of his prime
