Shawn was All-American 11 times and won 3 NCAA titles while at Clemson. He has won the US 200m title 3 times outdoors and once indoors (he also won the 60m title one time indoors). Internationally, Shawn is the 2004 Olympic Gold medalist in the 200m dash. He also has 2 Olympic silver medals, one for the 4x100 in 2004 and one for the 200m in 2008. He did, however, give the silver from '08 to Churandy Martina of the Netherlands Antilles, who beat Crawford but was disqualified for a line violation. Shawn also won Wolrd Championship bronze (outdoor) and gold (indoor) in 2001 in the 200m. He owns personal bests of 9.88 for 100m and 19.79 for 200m.
