mark, thanks for the reply. i know the field events can be harder to cover (with a race, just point and shoot) when there could be fouls, etc. on any long jump for example. I guess the bottom line is that I'd hate for you to see only runners come to this page when you can certainly broaden your audience. as a former high jumper myself, I don't come here very often because of that fact.

Still trying to figure out how to do the field events. If you have some ideas let me know bc I have been searching for a way we can do it where it would be entertaining.

One guy, one camera--it would be rather difficult logistically to film everything with that as the setup. Perhaps if Mark was given a generous donation to allow for the hiring of a full-time Flotrack camera crew, he could cover all the events and post them here on this free site.

I guess the field events don't exist in this sport anymore. Kudos to great overage on the track, but to not even bother showing one long jump, one throw, one high jump...is turning off half of your fan base. Why should any throwers, jumpers, etc. visit this site?
