Amen to that. That was just bad noise. Cool feature on the park though.

I grew up running the trails of Bidwell Park. Straight up amazing. There is a trail for every type of workout you're gonna do.

Bidwell Park is just one of those magical places! The key to enjoying a really good run there, is to get out early in the morning, when the air is still damp and cool and the morning mist is starting to rise off of the wood chipped trails. The upper part of the park can be hotter than hell though, so don't finish your workout in that direction, unless of course you plan to cool off and take a nice dip in the river at the "Five Mile!" pool.

Nice work Selby. Thanks for the reminder of how crappy my runs really are now compared to life up in Chico!

Great trails... lower park is closer to campus and is where the original Robin hood was filmed. It's also a great place to escape from the Chico heat because of trees.

Located 90 miles north of Sacramento, Bidwell Park's huge Oak trees and scenic creek create a beautiful running setting. Flat, shaded fire roads and rugged hilly trails offer variety that is ideal for training.

Kevin Selby joined the Chico State XC team for a run recently as they prepare for the upcoming season.
