This is where I did some of my long runs this summer. I like how you pass right by my street in the video.

Selby, I live in Washington State, which is a phenomenal hot spot for trail running, which I am sure that you know. It would be pretty cool if you could hook up with Scott Jurek (who lives up in Seattle) and have him take you on a tour of some of his favorites (Tiger Mountain is a great spot). If you are ever up this way and need help shooting, let me know...I'm more than happy to help (There is even a little gem of a spot right by our place called Capital State Forest).

One of my favorite aspects of running in being out in the wild, running through the woods and hearing nothing but the sound of the wind and my footsteps on a dirt trail. These trail segments are awesome...makes me wanna live on the west coast. Keep it up Kevin.

Tahoe Rim Trail

The Tahoe Rim Trail is 165 miles of single-track trail that goes around Lake Tahoe. Offering spectacular vistas and access to beautiful wilderness, it lives up to its name as "a trail like no other."

On this run I started at the Kingsbury North trailhead which is near the CA-NV border. Many of the trail sections are perfect for a point-to-point long run. The day after this video I ran from the Kingsbury South trailhead. The trail opened up to great views of the Carson Valley just east of Lake Tahoe.
