It's funny that these distance coaches try sprinting the first 40-60 push ups and then struggle to finish 100. What happened to pacing yourself?

When I was in the Army we would have matches with the Marines. The Marines would do pushups like Layne Anderson did his, which is way easier. But we would do ours like Santos did, well at least the first 50 or 60. It's harder, but it's the correct way to do them. Nice job Santos. I could do 84 in 2 minutes at Basic. Never tried to keep going after 2 minutes.

So funny how XC guys can't do 100 in one shot....They might need to make pushups part of their warmup

Another coach has stepped up to the challenge. Iona's Ricardo Santos decided to take on the task and motivate his squad with the 100 Pushup Challenge while in Terre Haute. Some coaches are definitely a little wary, but I think we'll have some great competition to come!
