Good Race   September 2, 2008 at 10:36pm
bab was tiring at 3 1/2 laps and took the lead to slow it down

every time jordan tried to pass, she would speed up then slow down again

Forget about her hair. Watch her race. Watch her run. Enjoy the moment.

How about you cut your own and then you can stop posting about people needing to have hair cuts. I volunteer to cut your hair, even. I have rusty shears in my garage. BTW, this race was fun to watch. Nice.

Still a little on the hot side at race time. I think a cool day would have put both Christine and Jordan under 10. Jordan continues to amaze. Last year we worried about her running in traffic and she went 2nd at Ostrava. Babcock has stunned everyone this year and they matched each other stride for stride. Christine has already signed with Washington. I hope Jordan goes Stanford or Oregon. Best education as a Cardinal but I want to see Coach Vin and Jordan work together.

yes we are seriously concerned with her hair. Ever since i saw her race as a freshmen i was like "dang she needs a hair cut" and now it is still ticking me off, that and the fact that she rejected my request on myspace a few years ago...do i come off as a pedo?

Evenly paced racing is her mantra. Once they got past the first laps excitement the race broke down to 4:57 and 5:06. Not bad for high school runners.

This is what you people come up with after watching this video? Are you seriously concerned with her hair? Give it a rest and focus on the running. Young athletes need support, not misguided criticism.

About the hair! It's almost a safety issue. She could knock somebody down with that ponytail!

Maybe if Jordan cut her hair she could run even faster. They were so close to under ten, that was a pretty awesome race.
