Whoa. I've run in some bad weather. I even spent three of my four collegiate years chasing Bob Kennedy. This is something big. You are a talent, Trevor. Coach - please train him for the bigger picture!

Trevor proves that winter weather conditions are no excuse for not getting in our workouts. Of course he had some help with the track preparation, but more than anything he showed all of us that winter running blahs just doesn't cut it. Thanks.

This kids crazy, he doesn't even look like hes runnin 9 minute pace. I am truly jealous of this his talent. absolutely amazing, no question about it.

with the condition of the track i am not so sure that ice skates, or even possibly snowshoes weren't the better choice over spikes

Trevor, could have used you on my ultimate team today...alas, a 21-16 loss.
To all, he ran 9:01...the video is spliced to divide it in two...there are thus seconds of repetition...go to YouTube if you seek improved video delivery...
Plus, the quarter times are yelled out...and can be added and easily determined.
Trevor as a runner is great, as a person he is better, combined with his family, they represent wonderous excellence.

That was just 'satanic' the kid reminds me of Bob K. when he was in college-the way he runs relaxed makes him even smoother...best of luck-distance running in the US sure could use more young guns. I c a 8:30 something later in the year.

Trevor just never ceases to amaze me!!! And on top of that he is just a cool cat to be around and is always willing to hit up a run with you...especially if it involves a good old hill climb. He is a mountain running monger without a doubt, and without question has attributed to his huge mental edge he displays while racing!!

whether it was 9:05, 9:01, or whatever the kid ran that on a snow covered track with rabbits, not real race competition... so do the math on that one put him in normal conditions and in a real race and id be surprised if he doesnt run in the 8:40's plus it was a workout... keep up the work

to what Obama said i timed it and got 9:05 but at like 7:25 26 in the video it glitches and adds a couple seconds because i compared it to the kid running the mile and got like 4:42

Great run, I am thoroughly impressed by your toughness and you have an amazing support crew, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Sure, some may criticize that effort but they just don't want to believe in the talent that you obviously are, don't listen to them. Where are you thinking of going to college next year?

You're right 9:05 is way less impressive than 9:01. Plus, the timing of the playback on the camera is probably not spot on. I would trust a hand timer over a recording of a run.

This was meant to be a workout to stay sharp throughout the winter training campaign between mt. sac and footlocker west regional. I was confident coming into the time trial and had felt strong all week leading up to it. As I said in the interview based on the conditions I believed that I could run 9:10 with a good race. I was extremely happy with the 9:01 as well as a bit surprised. It has motivated me to train hard and given me confidence for what kind of shape I am in. I never expected the footage to spread with quite the virus-like quality that it has, but I just want to say I appreciate all the comments and I will be trying my hardest to keep the performances coming. Hopefully this is just the start.

why are these guys running in shorts? Just a pair of proper running pants won't slow you down in those conditions and are a wise decision in case of injury prevention.

Hello, as a track novice, I have learned something here. 3200 is correct. This is a 3200 time trial. I always thought 4 laps were a mile. Well, Coach Dunbar insisted that this was 3200 when I asked him about this race (I thought "no", 4 laps are a mile). This is a 3200 time trial...4 laps on the outdoor track.

Holy shi** that track looks like its frozen; LOL. How did you guys keep from slipping? I'm lucky to live in Phoenix where it's 80 every day. This is about as hardcore as it gets.

Hey guys- just to clarify the filming was done by a friend of mine, he is a freshmen at my school. He put the footage on youtube in two parts due to its length. recently i added it to my flotrack page for any of my friends to check out. I guess the second video sound was off to explain the strange gap in between the video.

i noticed that too, but its the same video. the voices are just off on the second part. You can tell when you watch the end of the second video when trevor is talking.

are you sure that's not a fake...listen and watch the last 5 seconds of the 1st video, and listen and watch the first 5 seconds of the 2nd...they're not the same
