#29	Kyle Louv November 14, 2008 at 9:41pm Alter G inventor--Since shes running at 60% body mass she is probably not trying to improve her fitness; most likely she is just trying to get some turnover into her legs and get that feel of going fast. And she is doing an interview while doing this so I doubt it was any kind of a workout, probably more equivalent to a little 4 mile leg massage to stay loose. Those things are freakin' cool. reply

You might as well get someone to lift you up and just move your legs in a running motion. To get an equal benefit between impact reduction but also actually be running it needs to be between 92-95% of body weight. reply

Katie Follett was Washington's top runner at NCAA's last year finishing 19th and becoming the Huskies first All-American since 2001. This year at the conference meet she was the 5th women on the team....funny thing was, she was 5th overall!

With less than two weeks to go, Katie and the girls are excited to compete and ready to do what they've been doing all year.
