Oh you guys are so funny.....Amanda, you are aweful critical of very knowledgeable coach. I'm sure if you sat down and listened to him for more than just a four minute segment, you would see that in his 27 years of coaching elite distance runners he has figured some things out. I also don't believe he is stating that men DON'T have eating disorders at all.....he is just making a comparison...in comparison to female distance runners, eating disorders are practically non existent.

He makes it sound like girls solely run to monitor weight. NOT true!

he should be careful about saying there are "NO" men with eating disorders. There are plenty of men out there, and not just gay men, but all sorts of men including distance runners with disordered eating habits.
