the problem with U.S kids, well the one's that are at the top have no interest in going to the small schools like Providence, so the coach has to look else where to get good athletes in order to compete against the top schools in the NCAA, doesn't take a genius to figure that out. The top American kids are to stuck up to go to the small school, they want to be at Oregon and places like that.

The scholarship goes to the better athlete full stop.

He's from Ireland, so's his coach. He's a good runner and hard worker, good for him. But I agree U.S universities should look to their own to give $$ too. If foregin athletes want to come to the U.S to run and go to school they are more than welcome. But I think the scholarships should go to our own.

Get your sh*t straight, this foreigner happens to be a smart hard-working standup kid. Hell, he deserves the scholarship he earns more than the lazy American kids who didn't get it. Quit complaining and get to training.
