At BYU he anchored the DMR, almost ran down Arkansas, and finished a surprising second. Then in the steeple at NCAA?s in Sacramento, he defeated a deep field, which included the returning champion. During his time at BYU, Josh went from walk-on to NCAA champion. Earlier on, McAdams attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and then went to Thailand for mission work On return from Thailand he enrolled at BYU and walked onto the track team. At BYU he earned 4 All-American honors and competed at 6 national championships. |

I still remember you competing in open community meets where there were only 4 or 5 that showed up at all (I have it all on film and will upload one of them soon)
I would hire a computerized results guy out of my own pocket, advertise it in the paper, spend hours making homemade awards and nobody from my town would show up..
Just Fife and a couple of his buddies from Seymour 45 minutes away.
Seems like yesterday..what was it..7-8-9 years ago? maybe even 10.
