He has a shot at London, he'll be 36 which isn't out of the question. I think as long as he stays healthy he will be fine. It just depends if he wants to retire and spend more time with his family instead of training full time.

KD seems like he'll be the ultimate coach down there in LA. He's got the personal experience and the mind for the task. As an older runner myself, I'm super-curious to see what he can do if he keeps racing at the top level.

Anyone think he could qualify for the Olympics in 2012 if he keeps going with it? Even though he'd be what, like 35 or older? Is it humanly possible in the 800?

what a guy. he is really a true athlete that kids or even anybody can look up too. he really looks at his life in a different way then most runners at his level. hes gonna make an amazing coach in the next couple of years

What a role model. Why don't we hear more about these kinds of people? Flotrack idea: have a weekly, bi-monthly, monthly interview of people going beyond being an athlete or coach or supporter and truly being more than their public persona shows.

Just a great person. I hope he stays with track in one way or another for a long time. His passion is terrific. I see him coaching and motivating runners for a long time.
