Kd is in way better shape. he's scared to let it go. He's way to tactical. Kd is in 142 shape. No lie. but untill he stops coming up with these tactical races and beleive in himelf, He will only be known as the one who could have been great. Its funny cause he has all these sayings about how to be great lock in his head. But does not apply them. Kd you cant get in better shape. Stop being afraid to race. Run your pace. It will put in the lead or just under. But its seems after the 400 you lose it mentally. Seems you dont allow yourself to flow and b you. You and I both know if you run the way your capable Nick doesnt have a chance.
KD and Nick are both great athletes but until someone goes 1:43 or better we have no chance at the worlds. 1:45 is nothing to scoff at but it will not get anyone into the W. finals.
Tevan Everett is a wire to wire runner just as KD once was. I see him raising the bar going into 2010. If KD can get ahold of that kid before 2012 London, I believe he will be an olympic finalist (something we rarely see at 800m).
This guy has always frustrated me because he pushes the pace so hard so early. He is finally changing his tactics and at least trying to come off the pace. Nobody ever runs wire to wire in the 800.
if it worth anything kd looks a million times better than nick when he is running. nick just looks like a wild banshee
