He deserves a lot of credit for beating Wariner. Jeremy's always come in with a sort of edge over everyone else in the field. I mean, I believe Wariner'll win in Beijing, but Merritt has confidence knowing that he's keeping pace despite the fact he's 2 years younger. Finally beating him in Berlin was like a tipping point, regardless of the quality of Wariner's race. Having the confidence to be NOT intimidated by a guy like Jeremy Wariner gives Merritt his very own edge over the field, Wariner included.

mannn rogers is right...stop asking about wariner, it's like he didn't win or something...haha they are trying their hardest to dig up an imaginary hateful rivalry, congrats to merritt he is awesome i have been rooting for him to upset wariner throughout the trials
they just can't let it go can they. i understand that they're looking for a story and that's fine, but really....you can't ask the guy about HIS race and congratulate him? they just kept searching.
Merritt ran a 44.00 Thursday night to take home first in the Mens 400m Finals. Merritt will join Wariner (44.20) and Neville (44.61) in Beijing representing the US.
My bad, I didn't mean to make it sound like Bolt was somehow in the race with them haha
