Anderson has been part of Team U.S.A. twice for the 3,000m Steeplechase. In 2007 she placed 3rd in the event at the US Champs to earn a trip to Osaka and in 2008 she placed 2nd at the Olympic Trials to earn the trip to Beijing. While at Weber State, Anderson won mutiple All-American honors, placing as high as 2nd at NCAAs in the steeplechase. During her senior season, she also set the NCAA 3,000m Steeplechase record at the time.
