But.... December 27, 2008 at 7:57pm.
Why is Hasay's trial kick ranked lower than her Footlocker kick?

WOO December 27, 2008 at 7:55pm.
Jordan Hasay is the BEST!!! Come to Washington, they will be national champions for the next 4 years at least!

How is Reed Connor, the NXN Champ not in here for this? He DESTROYED the lead pack in the last 300m with an insane kick from FAR out (he didn't know where the finish line was and went early and held it). One of the guys he outkicked is a 3:49 1500m guy so it was no small feat!

REED CONNOR of The Woodlands, TX should be included! NATIONAL XC CHAMPION!

James December 26, 2008 at 10:15pm.
I agree Chase when the 3 oregon guys made it in the 800. It sounded like the stadium was going to explode from the sound

You have got to have a true passion for our sport and for all that you do to bring us up to date by the videos and interviews. Thanks for this year end recap and thanks for the spots of humor along the way. P.S. I enjoy when you give your commentary on things.

Excellent selections and analyses. The US 800 trials was one of the best kick finishes in history.

Chase Wade December 25, 2008 at 1:54am.
When Jordan broke the record the stadium was so loud, but not as loud as when Andy made the team. The best live races I have ever watched in my life.

But Ryan you should of put Abdi's finish in the 10k or should I say the next 150 that he ran after he finished.
#28
Awesome! December 24, 2008 at 7:52pm.
Ryan's comments added to the excitement of the videos! He knows his stuff- great job flotrack!

Colby Lowe vs Michael Cook at the UIL state championships. Colby's been undefeated for 2 years in Texas, and almost loses that streak in the last 200m of his final race

I still like Chris Derrick's 13:55 at Arcadia. That last 800 he dropped to dip under 14 was crazy.

Symmonds jumping out of the back to avoid being trapped was incredible. Wheating did what he did all year. Kick the competition to the curb. In the Trials race, it was just as dramatic as he had already completed a full outdoor collegiate season. To be able to continue his streak into the trials was amazing. I believe, outside of Beijing, he finished the year -- in every single 800 or 1500 he ran -- 1st except for 2nd at NCAA's and 2nd Trials.

Anonymous C-

I understand what you're saying, but don't hold that against galen. he was put in a situation to be trained by some of the best. its frustrating for some people to see that, but put yourself in his shoes. if you really think about it, wouldn't you take advantage of those resources? as a runner, i think most would

Mrs. Doubfire December 24, 2008 at 1:56pm.
Love love love Nick Simmonds and Andy Wheating.

Great choice for #1 but I don't agree with 2. . i liked Jenny B's better. Also, how about Minnesotas Heather Dorinden when she fell in her race and picked herself up for the win!
