#10	Really Poor Music October 12 at 9:27pm I agree...this music couldn't possibly be any worse. It jars my spinal cord just listening to it. Number 2 girl does like 12. DOogie Howser? I like the sweat band on the dude. He's obviously running for a cause. Probably to ban 12 yr olds from college sports. Does Colorado have grass? Does Jenny talk in one big run on sentence? #2	Read A Book October 4 at 9:52am Way to go Jenny B.! Also, I can't make out what the announcer is saying. But is that Allie Mclaughlin coming in second? Allie, Jordan, and Brasovan gave such an exciting 2008 Footlocker XC race. Not to take away from Jenny B. and her accomplishments, but no since in stating the obvious on how she's doing. I wonder how Allie and Brasovan are doing today. reply

University of Colorado senior Jenny Barringer broke yet another record as she set a Buffalo Ranch Cross Country Course 5.8-kilometer record of 19 minutes, 25 seconds, at the 24th Annual Rocky Mountain Shootout on Saturday.

Barringer’s time broke the previous record held by Kara Grgas-Wheeler who ran the course in 19:38 in 2000 at both the Rocky Mountain Shootout and the Big 12 Championship. Barringer also became only the second female to ever finish the race in less than 20 minutes.

Barringer first claimed the record when she surprisingly outkicked Anna Willard in Heusden (Race Vid HERE). Jenny was the 2007 USA Steeple champ and the runner-up to Willard at the 2008 US Olympic Trials. Barringer was also the NCAA champ in 2006 and 2008 (set NCAA record at that time at Drake). In 2006 and 2007 Jenny was the runner-up at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. She was also named USATF Athlete of the Week twice in 2008 (6/18/08 & 7/23/08).
