Galen Rupp has the smoothest stride that I have ever seen in my life! I dont care what distance he is running or what place he comes in, it is always an entertaining race to wach. I was at this meet and when he started moving before the gun, it looked like a bull that was about to leave the stable!

Dang, Rupp had a bad race. If you watch him the whole time, he was never able to get a good position. His goofy start kept him from getting a good initial position, and then he got boxed in hard. Couldn't get a position and still boxed in with 300 to go, tried to break out and stumbled a bit. Even in the final 100 he couldn't find an open spot to fully kick with. Too bad. IMO, could've run 1:48 if he had had better fortune with his positioning. It was mostly not his fault, just bad luck.
